This year's vacation takes place July 26th - August 2nd. We will be staying at the Lakewoods Resort in Cable, WI. We have
a pontoon boat rental from Sunday - Friday. Some people are bringing golf clubs, tennis rackets, bikes, fishing poles and
equipment
Arrival Information
We hope the information below will be helpful while preparing for your visit with us. If you need additional information
or have any questions, please dont hesitate to contact us.
GENERAL ARRIVAL
* We have FREE HIGH-SPEED INTERNET in nearly all units. All our condominiums, and lodge rooms have access and most
lake homes and golf villas do as well. If your unit does not have wireless access, the main lodge is a wireless hotspot for
your internet needs.
* Pets are not allowed in all units, please make special arrangements for accommodating your pet. We do have a limited
number of pet accessible units availabe for an additional pet fee.
* Our Front Desk can help with all your business needs as well. Services such as color printing, copies, computer
use, faxes (send or receive), and A/V equipment are all available for your use at a nominal fee.
* Please inform us of any special event you may be celebrating while at Lakewoods. We will be happy to order floral
arrangements, candy, fruit trays or make special arrangements for meals, indoor and outdoor cook-outs. We will also pack
picnic lunches or prepare appetizers, etc. for your event. To contact our group coordinator click here.
SUMMER VACATION INFORMATION
* We recommend you reserve your marina equipment prior to your arrival so you can be assured of the proper boats.
They are available on an hourly, daily and weekly basis.
* Dock space is available to all our guests on a first come basis. If you prefer to have a specific dock space, please
do so in advance. The charge is $50.00 for the week or $8.00 per day for a reserved slip.
* Personal towels, beach towels and kitchen towels are not provided in the summer for our weekly rentals. As housekeeping
units, all bed linens are furnished, but not daily housekeeping service. All Daily stays do receive all linens and housekeeping
service. If you're staying with us for the week (or longer) and desire Housekeeping service, it is available for an additional
fee.
* Cottages and golf villas have charcoal grills. There are also charcoal grills in front of each condominium building.
* A recreations program is available for children 6 years and older. Younger children may attend most activities
if accompanied by an adult or baby-sitter. The program typically runs the third week of June through August.
* Special golf rates are available at FOREST RIDGES on a daily or weekly basis. Family passes are also available.
In addition our golf pro offers special rates for golf lessons to all of Lakewoods guests.
* As housekeeping units, consumable items like paper products are provided at check-in but not replaced during your
stay. Additional items you may want to bring to make your summer vacation more enjoyable: bug spray, suntanning lotion, flash
lights, paper towels, toilet tissue, garbage bags, coffee filters (most are Mr. Coffee), facial tissue, dishwasher soap, laundry
soap, and charcoal with lighter fluid.
* And lastly, don't forget your golf clubs for our Forest Ridges Golf Course. Named "Best Place to Play"
by Golf Digest, it's one of the finest examples of Northwoods Golf anywhere. (You may even want lessons while your here)
